Evelinyn and William had always been drawn to contrasts: city life and wild escapes, stone paths and blooming gardens, the stillness of the mountains and the vibrant pulse of spring. Every spring, they’d return to Zagori — just as the cherry trees began to blossom, the meadows turned golden with poppies, and roses and wild peonies peeked from behind stone walls.
